Paper Clay has many advantages and is well suited for hand building. It is easy to use, extremely strong, and won’t crack. We will review how to make paper clay, bonding slips, and using paper clay for hand building functional forms. Using slides and group discussion we will explore paper clay. This is a hands-on workshop so please bring basic hand building tools with you to the workshop. The workshop will provide paper clay for your use. Participants will receive written instructions for making paper clay.
