Z-Base Glaze  Cone 6     (This is my Base Glaze)                     Oxidation
Good glaze to use with colorants.  Very nice with 1%
Gerstley Borate 4 copper carb (light blue green) or 3% copper for dark forest
Whiting 17 green.  Semi Matt finish with a silky feel.  Best to spray
Zinc Ox. 9 glaze.  This glaze works well with mason stains up to 10%.
Nepheline Syenite 20 Glaze has a problem with iron.  Will form a dark rust color at
Potash Feldspar 30 2%.  I use Laguna Borate instead of G. Borate and it works
Kaolin 14 well.  Very nice glaze with the addition of up to 10% rutile.
Flint 7 (Try Titanium Diox. Up to 10%, good surface qualities)

Semi Gloss Ash   Cone 6 Ox.
Soda Feldspar 38 Nice glaze to use as a matt glaze.  I use this
Ash 40 glaze as a spray coat to ZSM for glaze variation.
Ball-OM4 18 Use thin.  Nice glaze with oxides for color.
Talc 2 I use Ash from Axner Supply in Florida.
Dolomite 2 For a more matt finish increase ball clay.
Bentonite 1%  (this glaze can have a "dark" quality, try changing the ash)

Gold Black    Cone 6 OX.
Ball-OM4 3.9 Strange glaze! Turns gold where thick.  Flat black with
Red Art 47.8 gold specks.  Don't use with other glazes.  Make small
Flint 3.9 batches because glaze does not keep well.
Black Copper Ox. 4.9 Worth the effort.
Cobalt Ox. (Black) 3.9  (Nice flat Black - Take out the copper)
Mag Dioxide 35.6

Base Clear  Cone 6   Very nice base glaze for use on porcelain
Gerstley Borate 51 Clear shiny gloss glaze.
Silica 31  (try putting some Mason Stains in it - almost any stain
Kaolin 16 ( Mason rating 1,3,6)  at 2% to 10% would be nice)
Custer Spar 3
Bentonite 1

Always test glazes prior to use!
