Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen – Rittenhouse Square
May 13, 2016 - May 15, 2016Free
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen returns to Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square with its fifth juried fine craft fair over the weekend of May 13, 14 & 15, 2016. The event was named a Top 100 Fine Craft Fair in the nation by ArtFair Sourcebook, a respected publication in the craft industry known for its artist-submitted show reviews.
Over 150 white tent canopies line the sidewalks of the gorgeous Rittenhouse park, brimming with beautiful handmade objects from both seasoned and emerging artists. Patrons will enjoy our Guild members’ finest work, amidst the canopy of trees and the nearby cafes as they browse through the booths of these independent makers.
The event features functional home décor such as furniture, pottery, glass, photography and other furnishings and also showcases wearable arts such as jewelry, clothing, accessories, leather and fiber handbags. Regardless of medium, all Guild craftsmen make it their passion to elevate everyday functional items into the realm of the visionary. All the craft on display is the patient and careful work of the craftsmen in the booth.
